In a powerful statement during a full court reference, AJK’s Chief Justice denounced India’s midnight assault on civilians, calling it a blatant breach of international law.

Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, has issued a strong condemnation of India’s recent attacks on unarmed civilians, which took place under the cover of darkness. Speaking at a full court reference in Muzaffarabad, the Chief Justice criticized the targeted aggression and reaffirmed that such cowardly acts would never break the spirit of the Kashmiri people.

He noted that these assaults—deliberately aimed at innocent children, women, and non-combatants—were not only inhumane but also clear violations of international humanitarian law. Justice Saeed Akram labeled the attacks as cowardly and shameful, emphasizing that India’s actions will not weaken the Kashmiri resolve.

He called upon the international community to take immediate and serious notice of India’s ongoing hostilities. Stressing the legal and moral responsibilities of global bodies, he urged them to act before the situation escalates further.

Despite these challenges, Justice Saeed Akram highlighted the resilience of the people of Azad Kashmir (AJK). “Our courts are open, government offices are fully functional, and business institutions continue operating,” he said. “The morale of our nation remains unshaken.”

He made it clear that neither fear nor force can suppress the demand for justice and freedom. The ongoing attacks, he said, only strengthen the resolve of the Kashmiri people to continue their lawful and peaceful struggle.

Justice Saeed Akram also paid glowing tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and air force, commending their bravery and swift action in defense of the nation. He lauded the “falcons” of the air force for their successful retaliation, which included the destruction of enemy aircraft.

“These heroic actions will be remembered in history,” he remarked. “They have once again proven that Pakistan will not tolerate any threat to its sovereignty or the safety of its people.”

In his closing remarks, the Chief Justice reaffirmed that Kashmiris will not be deterred by aggression or violence. He insisted that justice will prevail, and the people of Kashmir will continue to raise their voices until their rights are fully recognized.
