Indian War Drills and Massive Troop Deployment in Srinagar Raise Fears of False Flag Operation Ahead of Amarnath Yatra 2026

Indian forces have started a massive military drill in the Parimpora and Maloora areas of Srinagar. This operation includes the paramilitary forces, police, fire services, and the civil administration. Local people openly call this a full scale war drill. The forces are practicing for car bombs, gunfights, and public riots. India claims these extreme steps are for the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage starting on July 3, 2026. However, the local population sees this as open intimidation. Turning public towns into war zones shows that India wants to terrify the locals rather than protect anyone.

The Danger of Manufactured Security Crises

These continuous military drills across Kashmir are designed to keep the population under constant fear. Senior Indian military commanders are frequently visiting the Line of Control. This shows that the government is planning a fake security incident, known as a false flag operation. The main goal is to shift world attention away from the brutal human rights violations by Indian forces. India wants an excuse for more military violence against innocent civilians. History shows that when Kashmiri freedom fighters controlled the valley, they never harmed any Hindu pilgrim. This proves the current government is lying to maintain its illegal occupation.

Statistics of Occupation and Systematic Suppression

The scale of this occupation is visible in the massive number of troops. Independent reports show that Kashmir is the most militarised zone in the world. For a population of 14 million people, India has deployed 700,000 to 900,000 soldiers. For this pilgrimage alone, India sent 670 military companies, which is much higher than the 581 companies sent last year. This means there is one armed soldier for every 15 Kashmiri civilians. Since India illegally canceled Kashmir’s special status in August 2019, arbitrary arrests and killings have jumped. Over 96,000 Kashmiris have been killed since 1989, proving that this security grid is a killer machine.

High Altitude Blockades and Total Surveillance

Indian forces have also taken over the mountains with aggressive drills at 18 snow bound locations. They have placed 45 specialized mountain teams along the 48 kilometer Pahalgam track and the 14 kilometer Baltal track. To make this lockdown worse, the police started project hawk eye for absolute surveillance. This includes 34 facial recognition cameras, 416 regular spy cameras, 24 hour drone monitoring, and 22 sniper teams on high posts. This aggressive setup destroys the daily life of locals and turns a religious event into an active military invasion.

The Communal Agenda of the Ruling State

Political experts state that India is using this pilgrimage to push its Hindutva and Akhand Bharat ideology. By painting local Muslims as dangerous threats to Hindu pilgrims, the government creates deep religious hatred. This helps the ruling party win votes from radical nationalists in India while keeping Kashmir under a brutal emergency. The government has stopped private helicopters, created no fly zones, and given anti drone weapons to soldiers to build an atmosphere of pure terror. They control the locals while telling lies to the world.

The Strategy of Permanent Military Domination

These massive drills and surveillance networks are meant to tighten the illegal occupation. Constant vehicle searches, sudden road closures, and military threats do not protect anyone. Instead, they create deep anger and psychological torture for Kashmiris. India manufactures these security excuses to justify brutal laws like the Public Safety Act and the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, which let soldiers kill with total immunity. This massive militarisation is not for security. It is a deliberate plan to silence the Kashmiri demand for freedom and hide state crimes from the world.
