APHC Denounces Indian Air Strikes: A Call for Global Intervention
May 8, 2025Tensions flare in South Asia once again as the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) condemns recent Indian missile attacks, urging the world to recognize the rising tide of aggression and human rights violations.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly criticized India’s missile strikes on Pakistani territory, labeling them as a reflection of Hindutva-fueled aggression. In a statement issued from Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas condemned the attack, highlighting it as a form of state-sponsored terrorism targeting not only Pakistan but also Azad Kashmir.
The APHC expressed deep sorrow over the civilian casualties and injuries caused by the strikes, standing in solidarity with the victims. They urged the United Nations to take immediate action and officially declare India a terrorist state, citing its ongoing role as a threat to peace in the region and beyond.
According to the APHC, these strikes are part of a broader Indian agenda to defame the legitimate freedom movement of the Kashmiri people. The group emphasized that such aggressive and violent actions are meant to silence the voices demanding the right to self-determination but vowed they will not succeed.
The spokesperson called on Pakistan to firmly confront Indian hostility across all domains—military, political, and diplomatic. He insisted that a strong and unified response is essential to counter India’s ongoing campaign of intimidation and violence in the region.
He also stressed that the Kashmiri people’s struggle is rooted in peace and legality, and no amount of aggression will derail their pursuit of freedom. Despite ongoing oppression, APHC reaffirmed that Kashmiris remain committed to their rightful cause.
Furthermore, the APHC appealed to the global community to recognize and act upon the repeated violations of human rights occurring in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They urged international bodies to hold India accountable for its continued disregard of international law and human dignity.
The APHC reiterated that India’s actions not only threaten regional stability but also pose a wider risk to global peace. The APHC statement called for international solidarity and pressure to bring an end to these hostilities and ensure justice for the oppressed people of IIOJK.
