Despite enduring immense hardships, the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir continue to display unwavering dedication to their freedom struggle, earning praise from their incarcerated leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah, the unlawfully detained Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party and a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has commended the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for their steadfast commitment to the freedom movement.

In a heartfelt message from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail, he applauded the Kashmiri people for their remarkable courage, moral fortitude, and strong sense of unity and brotherhood. Shah acknowledged that facing hardships is an inevitable part of any struggle against oppression but expressed confidence in the people’s unwavering determination to protect their collective rights.

Emphasizing the importance of the holy month of Ramadan, he urged everyone to extend care and support to the less fortunate, including the impoverished, widows, and orphaned girls. He stressed that neglecting the underprivileged is unacceptable under any circumstances and called for compassion and solidarity within the community.

Shah also appealed to the global Muslim community, particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to take concrete steps in addressing the suffering of the Kashmiri people. He lamented the silence of the Muslim world in the face of the injustices being inflicted on Kashmiris, especially during a month that symbolizes mercy and unity.

Concluding his message, Shah reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to IIOJK’s freedom struggle. He urged the people to remain united and resolute in their fight for self-determination, emphasizing that their sacrifices would not be in vain.
