Hybrid Warfare: A Report Exposes India’s Misinformation Tactics Against Pakistan

A recent report titled “Hybrid War Against Pakistan” has unveiled India’s multifaceted hybrid warfare strategy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. The report highlights New Delhi’s disinformation campaigns, promotion of terrorism, and systematic attempts to tarnish Pakistan’s international reputation.

The report asserts that India’s hybrid tactics rely heavily on spreading misinformation through a network of fake news outlets and NGOs. Investigations by EU DisinfoLab uncovered a vast web of fake websites across 65 countries, orchestrated to portray Pakistan negatively and influence global opinion on Kashmir. These fabricated platforms targeted policymakers in the EU and the UN, disseminating anti-Pakistan narratives while undermining the legitimate Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.

Additional investigations by the BBC and Al Jazeera corroborate KMS’s findings, revealing India’s deliberate efforts to mislabel Pakistan as a sponsor of terrorism. The report criticizes the Indian government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling its tactics as fascist and reflective of an aggressive approach to regional dominance.

It further argues that these efforts aim to criminalize Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, deflect attention from India’s actions in Kashmir, and amplify baseless accusations against Islamabad. The report calls for global recognition of these hybrid warfare operations and urges the international community to counter India’s information warfare.

Pakistanis and Kashmiris, however, remain united in their resolve to resist these tactics, underscoring the resilience of their cause.
