Three Hindu men, posing as Sadhus, were assaulted by a Hindutva group in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. They were mistaken for Muslims.

The victims, Sunil Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, and Gopinath, were begging in the area when they were attacked.

A police investigation found the allegations against them to be baseless. However, no action was taken against the assailants.

Meanwhile, a Muslim man named Nazim was beaten by a Hindutva mob in Quarsi. In another incident, a minor Muslim boy was thrashed in Banndevi after being asked his name.

These incidents highlight the growing violence and intolerance in India.
