‘Long Live Pakistan’ Rally in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Echoes Kashmiris’ Solidarity with Pakistan
May 23, 2025In a powerful display of unity and patriotism, a massive rally was held in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, to celebrate Pakistan’s recent victory over India and reaffirm support for the Kashmir cause.
A grand rally under the banner of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) AJK chapter was held in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, celebrating Pakistan’s major victory over India. The event, titled “Long Live Pakistan,” started from Haidari Chowk and concluded at the Bagh Press Club.
Led by APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the rally drew a large and spirited crowd. As the procession reached the press club, it turned into a public gathering hosted by Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah.
The rally reflected the deep emotional connection and unwavering support that the people of Kashmir have for Pakistan and its armed forces. Attendees passionately raised slogans, sang national songs, and recited patriotic verses expressing their love and loyalty to Pakistan.
During the public address, APHC leaders strongly condemned India’s alleged false flag operation in Pahalgam, which they claimed was falsely blamed on Pakistan. They also highlighted rising incidents of violence and persecution faced by Kashmiri students and civilians in various Indian cities.
Speakers revealed that thousands of Kashmiris have been killed, arrested, or had their homes demolished simply for showing support for Pakistan. The leaders described these actions as part of India’s broader anti-Kashmir and anti-Pakistan campaign.
The APHC praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their brave response to Indian aggression and celebrated the military operation “Bunyanum Marsous” as a divine response in honor of the sacrifices made by over 100,000 Kashmiris and Pakistan Army martyrs.
The leaders also acknowledged Pakistan Army Chief General Hafiz Asim Munir’s firm stance, recalling his February 5 pledge at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Muzaffarabad that Pakistan will never allow Kashmir — its jugular vein — to fall into enemy hands.
Participants urged Pakistan to proceed wisely, learn from history, and ensure that Kashmiris are included in future international and diplomatic dialogues on the Kashmir issue.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from all sectors of Bagh’s society — including religious, political, business, farming, labor, and civil communities. Prominent Hurriyat leaders present included Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Syed Manzoor Ahmed Shah, Raja Khadim Hussain, and others. Key local figures such as AJK Ministers Zia Qamar, Meer Akbar, Imtiaz Naseem, and political leaders from JUI-F, PML-N, Jamaat-e-Islami, and refugee groups from Khayaban Colony also took part.
