India’s Two-Front War: State-Backed Terror Against Muslims and Dalits

November 2, 2025 Off By Sharp Media

India’s “democracy” facade is crumbling, showing an ugly reality. Under the Modi government, India is becoming a state of open separation, where minorities and lower-caste groups are hunted and humiliated by state-backed Hindutva mobs. Two recent horrors in Uttar Pradesh—a mob attack on a minor Muslim girl’s family and the public shaming of a Dalit youth—are not isolated crimes. They are a shameless show of a state-supported project to control these groups.

The Targeted Terrorising of a Muslim Child

The Ghaziabad incident is a sickening example of the violent Islamophobia the Modi government has promoted. A minor Muslim girl and her family were attacked by a Hindutva mob over a video.

🔵 The Excuse for Vicious Hate:

The attack was “started” over a video of the girl mentioning beef. This was just an excuse for the mob, led by known Hindutva figures, to unleash their violent hate against a vulnerable Muslim family.

🔵 The True Intent of the Hindutva Mob:

The attackers, from the Bajrang Dal and Hindu Raksha Dal, stormed the home, “shouted Islamophobic slurs,” and “hurled obscene and threatening abuse,” proving it was a targeted, religious act of terror.

State Involvement and Upside-Down Justice

The worst part of the Ghaziabad attack is the police behaviour. They acted as a protective arm of the Hindutva mob, showing a shameful, upside-down justice.

🔵 The State’s Protection of the Criminals:

Instead of arresting the known attackers, the police “took the extraordinary step of detaining the Muslim girl” herself. This signals that in Modi’s India, the Muslim victim is the criminal.

🔵 The Victim’s Forced and Filmed Humiliation:

In a disturbing video, the girl is seen “bruised and forced to apologize in front of the police,” while the main attacker, Daksh Chaudhary, records it. This is a state-supervised act of humiliation.

The Public Shaming of a Dalit Youth

In a matching show of supremacist violence, the Bharthana incident exposes Hindutva’s other war: the brutal enforcement of caste rank. A young Dalit man was publicly shamed for his identity.

🔵 An Assault on Basic Human Dignity:

The victim, Sumit Diwakar, was stopped by Hindutva men who “hurled casteist slurs at him.” They then “forced him to assume the ‘murga’ (rooster) posture” in the middle of a road, a tactic to deeply humiliate him.

🔵 A Tool of Widespread Terror:

The assault was also mental. The attackers “recorded the incident on video, which was later shared widely on social media,” multiplying the shame and sending a clear message of terror to all Dalits.

A System of Safety for Hindutva Thugs

These two incidents are linked by one thing: the total safety from punishment for the attackers. The attackers are not small groups; they are the foot soldiers of the ruling ideology.

🔵 The Profile of a State-Protected Criminal:

The Ghaziabad ringleader, Daksh Chaudhary, has a “long history of violence.” “Despite multiple FIRs filed against him, Chaudhary remains free,” enjoying state protection.

🔵 A Deliberate ‘Slow Pace’ of Action:

In the Dalit case, the “slow pace of action” and “apparent lack of accountability” are on purpose. They ensure that the Hindutva thugs are never truly punished for their crimes.

The Ideological War on India’s “Others

This violence is the intended result of the Hindutva ideology that the Modi government supports. This ideology requires a constant enemy, and it has clearly identified its two main targets.

🔵 The Muslim as the “External” Enemy:

Muslims are framed as the “outsider” to be hated. This is why Hindutva chief Pinki Chaudhary “suggested demolishing her family’s house using bulldozers,” the state’s preferred tool of collective punishment.

🔵 The Dalit as the “Internal” Sub-human:

Dalits are the “internal” target, a community to be kept in a state of permanent submission. The violence against Sumit Diwakar was about violently enforcing the caste system.

A Serious Breach of Universal Human Rights

India’s actions are an open and repeated violation of its binding promises under international law. The Modi government is actively ignoring the most basic principles of human rights.

🔵 Violation of Foundational UN Agreements:

These attacks are a direct breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, specifically Article 2 (non-discrimination) and Article 5 (ban on torture or degrading treatment).

🔵 Breach of Specific International Treaties:

India is violating the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (on security of person and freedom of religion) and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

The World’s Deafening and Guilty Silence

While this state-supported terror unfolds, the international community, especially the West, stays silent. Human lives are being sacrificed for political and economic interests.

🔵 Politics Trumping Human Dignity:

Western capitals are ignoring that India is falling into a fascist state because they want a strategic partner. They are shaking hands with a regime whose hands are stained with blood.

🔵 The Failure of Global Institutions:

The United Nations has failed to hold India responsible. This lack of action has allowed the “growing climate of Islamophobia” and caste-terror to “flourish unchecked,” making the world a silent partner.

Conclusion: A Call for International Responsibility

The horrific events in Ghaziabad and Bharthana are the new normal in Modi’s India. They are the frontline of a domestic war by the state against its own people.

🔵 India as a Violator of Human Rights:

These incidents expose India as a state that supports and protects violent mobs. The attacker’s boast—”If you speak against Hindutva, this is the fate you’ll meet”—is the true voice of the modern Indian state.

🔵 The World Must Bring India to Justice:

The time for “concern” is over. The international community has a moral and legal duty to act. The attackers and their powerful supporters in the Modi government must be held responsible for these terrible crimes.
