India’s Aggressive Crackdown in IIOJK
November 21, 2024India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), backed by paramilitary and police forces, and has unleashed a new wave of terror across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), brutally intensifying its oppressive agenda.
Search operations and house raids were launched across several districts, including Kupwara, Reasi, Doda, Udhampur, Ramban, and Kishtwar. These actions, far from being impartial investigations, reek of a sinister ploy to tighten India’s stranglehold on the region.
Among those targeted was Muneer Ahmad Banday, a well-known Kashmiri businessman, who was arrested in Handwara, Kupwara. His detention is linked to an old, baseless case fabricated by Indian agencies, falsely labeling him as an over-ground worker.
This calculated operation is yet another attempt to silence dissent and dismantle the local economic structure by targeting influential Kashmiris like Banday. These arrests aim to foster fear and crush resistance.
Searches and raids continue relentlessly in towns and villages across the affected districts in IIOJK. Indian forces conduct these actions under a veneer of legality, while the real motive is to spread intimidation.
The ongoing oppression in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir showcases India’s blatant disregard for human rights. These raids serve as grim reminders of the unrelenting aggression faced by the Kashmiri population daily.
