Indian Forces Conduct Cordon-and-Search Operation in Poonch, IIOJK
June 15, 2025Jammu: Indian forces’ personnel have launched a major cordon and search operation in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The forces’ personnel launched the operation in the Gagrian-Sawjian area of district.
The troops conducted raids and searched several houses in the district. They check mobile phones, and if any call or message is found from a relative in Azad Kashmir or Pakistan, the person is taken into custody and sent to jail without any wrongdoing.
Several people have been detained and interrogated during the operation. The presence of a large number of Indian troops in the area has created fear among the locals.
