Amid rising tensions in South Asia, massive protests swept through Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) in defiance of India’s unprovoked aggression targeting civilians—igniting a wave of solidarity with Pakistan.

Large-scale demonstrations were held across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to condemn India’s recent attacks on civilian areas in both AJK and Pakistan. The protests served as a bold denunciation of Indian hostility and a show of unity with the people and armed forces of Pakistan.

In Muzaffarabad, hundreds of citizens assembled outside the Central Press Club in a rally organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as demonstrators set fire to the Indian national flag and chanted slogans denouncing India.

One of the most prominent chants echoed through the streets: “Pakistan se rishta kya – La ilaha illallah” (“What is our bond with Pakistan? – There is no god but Allah”), expressing unwavering solidarity with Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, speakers such as Uzair Ghazali paid tribute to the courage and resilience of the Pakistani armed forces. They accused India of escalating tensions and threatening the fragile peace of the South Asian region.

“India is a terrorist state,” said the speakers, blaming New Delhi for disturbing regional stability and violating international laws by targeting civilian populations. They reiterated that the people of Kashmir see Pakistan as their only hope and pledged their continued support to the Pakistan Army in the struggle for Kashmir’s freedom.

Another protest was held outside the Press Club in Rawalakot, where similar sentiments were expressed. Protesters condemned India’s aggression and hailed Pakistan’s military for its prompt and powerful response.

Speakers at the Rawalakot demonstration praised the Pakistan Air Force for downing five Indian aircraft and preventing further escalation. “The nation stands proud of our air force,” one speaker declared, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

The brave tribes of Poonch were also recognized for their solidarity with the Pakistan Army. Protesters declared that they would stand united in the face of any future aggression and thwart every attempt by India to destabilize the region.

Among the prominent speakers at these rallies were Sardar Qamar Rasheed, Sardar Ikram Munsif, Sardar Zahoor, and others. They emphasized that the people of AJK will not be silenced and will continue their resistance until the dream of a free Kashmir is realized.

The protests sent a strong message to the international community, demanding accountability for India’s actions and support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
