In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has raised serious concerns over the ongoing crackdown on Islamic and historical literature, describing it as an attempt to strip Kashmiris of their Islamic identity. APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas strongly criticized the Hindutva-driven policies of the administration led by Manoj Sinha, accusing it of deliberately targeting Islamic books as part of a broader RSS-backed agenda to reshape Kashmir’s Muslim character through ideological manipulation in schools.

Senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has issued a warning about the existential threats facing occupied Jammu and Kashmir due to policies aimed at undermining Kashmiri identity. These include the abrogation of special status, unlawful land seizures, and systematic efforts to erase the region’s distinct identity. He called upon all communities to stand united against these measures and firmly opposed the idea of separate settlements for Kashmiri Pandits.

Meanwhile, Indian forces have continued their cordon and search operations across various districts in IIOJK, including Kupwara, Baramulla, Islamabad, Rajouri, Poonch, and Doda. Several civilians were interrogated during these operations, adding to the climate of fear and repression in the region.
