Another Muslim Youth Assaulted in India to Chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’

In Jharkhand, India, a Muslim youth named Obaidullah Hasnain was brutally assaulted by a Hindutva gang. The attack occurred in Ranchi’s Hindpidhi area.

Obaidullah, who was out on a duty at night, was confronted by a group near Hindi School. The gang abused and coerced him into chanting the Hindutva slogan “Jai Shri Ram.” When he resisted, they surrounded him and continued the assault.

The attackers beat Obaidullah with sticks until he fell unconscious, causing a serious fracture in his hand. Local residents and temple-goers joined in the violence.

Obaidullah managed to escape and was later taken to the Hindpuri police station by his family, where they filed a complaint. As of now, no action has been taken by the authorities.

The victim named several individuals—Vishnu, Golu, Karan, and Hritik—who were involved in the attack. The incident highlights growing tensions and violence against Muslims in the region.
