New Delhi – Systematic discrimination against Muslims has become increasingly prevalent under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime. Housing segregation, communal violence, and state favoritism towards Hindus are significant issues that exacerbate the vulnerabilities of the Muslim minority.

Recent violent attacks on Muslims during religious practices have gone unpunished, highlighting a grave violation of human rights. This lack of accountability worsens the exclusion and marginalization faced by Muslims in India.

Protests by the Hindu community against housing for Muslim single mothers reveal entrenched institutionalized bigotry.
