State Terrorism in IIOJK: Indian Troops Martyred Three Kashmiri Youth

In a terrifying display of state terrorism, Indian troops have martyred three Kashmiri youth in the Jammu district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).  

The killings occurred during a cordon and search operation in the Aknoor area. This is yet another brutal act in a long history of violence inflicted upon the Kashmiri people.

The situation escalated earlier when an Indian Army vehicle was attacked during a search operation in the same region. This incident likely prompted an aggressive response from the troops, leading to the tragic loss of young lives.

On the morning of the killings, a meeting was convened by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain. District Superintendents of Police (SSPs) were present as a high alert was declared for Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, and Rajouri districts. This indicates a premeditated escalation of military operations in the area.

Such actions only highlight the oppressive nature of Indian rule in IIOJK. The cordon and search operations are frequently used as a pretext for violence, allowing troops to carry out extrajudicial killings with impunity.
