Pakistan has completely rejected the plan to create five new districts in the Ladakh region. These areas are part of a territory that is recognized by the United Nations as a disputed land. India cannot make such big administrative changes on its own without violating international agreements. These actions are seen as a sneaky way to change the map and the population of the region.
