Modi’s Bloody Script: Fake Encounters and the Killing of Kashmiri Youth in IIOJK

The valleys of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) are once again soaked in blood. Indian troops have turned the occupied territory into a killing field, where life has no value and truth has no place. The latest wave of extrajudicial killings has shocked the local population and further exposed the cruelty of the Modi regime.

In Kasiliyan, Poonch, two innocent Kashmiri youth were gunned down in a staged encounter. Just days earlier, three more were martyred in Srinagar’s Dachigam in another so-called operation. The Indian army immediately labeled them “militants,” yet offered no evidence—a familiar pattern in its bloody playbook. These are not security operations; they are cold-blooded executions aimed at creating a false narrative of victory.

Kashmiri Lives Used as Political Cover

These fake encounters are not isolated incidents; they are part of a systematic strategy. Every time India faces a military embarrassment or political setback, Kashmiri youth pay the price with their lives.

The Kasiliyan and Dachigam encounters are widely seen as cover-ups to distract from the Pahalgam fiasco and the collapse of Operation Sindoor, where India’s tall claims of success fell apart under scrutiny. Instead of facing accountability, the Modi regime responds with more bloodshed, fabricating encounters to hide its failures.

This is not just about silencing the people of IIOJK. It is about protecting the false image of a “strong India” at home. Modi’s government thrives on headlines, not honesty. Each body buried in the valley is a shield against political humiliation in New Delhi.

The Human Toll of Occupation

The numbers tell a story of horror that words can barely capture. Since 1989, more than 96,454 Kashmiris have been killed. Among them, 7,392 were murdered in fake encounters or died in custody. These are not just statistics; they are families destroyed, children orphaned, and communities living in permanent grief.

Under draconian laws like the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), Indian soldiers enjoy complete freedom to kill and arrest without consequence. No inquiry brings justice, and no trial punishes the guilty. In today’s IIOJK, a young man leaving home may never return—or he may return in a coffin, labeled a “terrorist” by the very forces that killed him.

Even funerals are restricted, families are silenced, and homes are raided—all in the name of security. The occupied valley has been turned into an open prison, where human rights exist only on paper.

International Law Broken, Humanity Shamed

The Modi government’s actions in IIOJK violate international law, the UN Charter, and the Geneva Conventions. Killing civilians, staging encounters, and collective punishment are war crimes under global law. Yet India continues these acts with complete impunity.

Human rights organizations have repeatedly raised alarms, but New Delhi responds with media blackouts and propaganda campaigns. Each staged killing is not only a crime against the Kashmiri people but also a stain on the world’s conscience.

The international community has a moral duty to act, but its silence encourages more atrocities. The longer the world looks away, the more graves are dug in IIOJK.

The Unbroken Spirit of Resistance

Despite decades of military oppression, mass arrests, and endless propaganda, India has failed to break the will of the Kashmiri people. History proves that occupation cannot defeat a people’s demand for freedom.

Every martyr strengthens the resolve of IIOJK’s youth, and every staged encounter exposes India’s weakness rather than its strength. Modi can control land with guns, but he cannot win hearts with lies.

The more India kills, the more it isolates itself internationally. Its dream of projecting itself as a democracy collapses under the weight of every coffin lowered in the valley.

Silence is Complicity

The world must not remain silent in the face of this human tragedy. Modi’s regime must be held accountable for its crimes in IIOJK. Independent investigations by international human rights bodies are essential to uncover the truth behind fake encounters and extrajudicial killings.

Silence is complicity. Until the world speaks with one voice, Kashmiri youth will continue to die without justice, and international law will remain a promise betrayed.

The blood in IIOJK calls for action. Every delayed response is another license for India to kill, lie, and repeat its crimes.
