Mehbooba Mufti Appeals to Voters to Reject Abrogation of Article 370

Mehbooba Mufti, President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged voters to use their ballots as a means to voice their dissatisfaction with the revocation of Article 370. Speaking at a gathering in Awantipora-Tral, Mufti underscored that the decision made in 2019 is vehemently opposed by the populace of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In her address, Mufti emphasized that the upcoming election transcends mere developmental agendas. Instead, she asserted that it presents an opportunity for residents to convey a resolute message against the actions taken in 2019. For Mufti, this electoral process is a platform through which the people can assert their collective stance on the revocation of Article 370, signalling their unequivocal rejection of the decision imposed upon them.
