Massive Rally in Muzaffarabad Expresses Solidarity with Kashmir and Palestine
March 31, 2025Muzaffarabad: A large rally was held in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, to express unwavering solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine. The demonstration underscored the shared struggle of both regions against longstanding occupation and human rights violations.
Organized by the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights along with the Central Seerat Committee, the rally commenced from Eidgah and culminated at Upper Adda. It saw a significant turnout of civil society members, representatives of the Seerat Committee, and local citizens, all united in their call for justice and freedom.
Speaking at the event, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Vice Chairman of the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, strongly denounced the persistent brutality faced by Kashmiris and Palestinians. He criticized the international community for its continued silence and urged global powers to take meaningful action in defense of human rights and self-determination. He reaffirmed that the sacrifices made by the people of Kashmir and Palestine would not go in vain and vowed that their struggle for freedom would persist until their aspirations were realized.
Throughout the demonstration, participants passionately chanted slogans in support of Kashmir and Palestine, calling on the global community to intervene and put an end to the oppression in both territories. Protesters carried placards condemning human rights violations and emphasizing the need for justice, peace, and the right to self-determination.
The rally in Muzaffarabad reflects the broader sentiments of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who remain steadfast in their commitment to supporting the cause of their brethren in IIOJK and Palestine.
