Kashmiris Draw Strength from Pakistan Resolution: APHC Reaffirms Support on Pakistan Day
March 24, 2025The struggle of the Kashmiri people continues to be fueled by historical milestones, with unwavering hope rooted in Pakistan’s strength and stability.
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has reiterated that the Kashmiri freedom movement draws powerful inspiration from the Pakistan Resolution of March 23, 1940. According to the APHC, a strong and stable Pakistan is fundamental to resolving the long-standing Kashmir conflict.
On Pakistan Day, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas conveyed heartfelt wishes to the people and government of Pakistan. In his statement from Srinagar, he prayed for Pakistan’s peace, progress, and prosperity. Minhas stressed that Pakistan’s stability is directly linked to the Kashmiri people’s ongoing struggle for freedom and self-determination.
He further highlighted that the Kashmir dispute is an unresolved issue stemming from the partition of the Indian subcontinent. The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan and Kashmir share deep-rooted religious, cultural, and historical ties. He pointed out that March 23 holds special significance, marking the adoption of the Lahore Resolution, which led to the establishment of Pakistan as a separate homeland for Muslims.
Minhas affirmed that the freedom struggle in IIOJK is a natural extension of the Pakistan Movement. He declared that Pakistan remains incomplete without Kashmir, highlighting Pakistan’s unwavering role as the Kashmiri people’s staunch advocate and supporter.
Expressing deep gratitude, Minhas acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous political, diplomatic, and moral backing of the Kashmiri cause. This steadfast support, he noted, has strengthened the determination of the Kashmiri people in their fight against Indian occupation.
He concluded by stating that the hearts of the people of Pakistan and Kashmir beat in unison. Reaffirming his belief, Minhas expressed confidence that one day, Kashmir will rightfully become an inseparable part of Pakistan.
