
Indian Troops Intensified CASOs in IIOJK

Indian troops have extended the covert search operations in the Uhampur and Kishtwar districts of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for another day. The operations, which began on Wedneday, targetted the villages of Jopher and Marta in Udhampur district.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur, Amod Ashok Nagpure, confirmed that the search efforts are ongoing. Last night, the troops fired several shots during the operation, but no further details have been provided about the incident.
In the Chatroo area of Kishtwar, the search operation also entered its second day. A senior police officer stated that the operation was based on specific intelligence about possible suspicious activity in the area. As part of the operation, a tight cordon was set up to secure the region.
During the operation in Kishtwar, Indian troops came under heavy fire, leading to an intense gunfight. The exchange of fire continues as both sides engage. Reinforcements have been sent to the area to assist with the operation, and the situation remains tense.
In addition to the ongoing operations, Indian forces reported the detection and neutralization of a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Hafrada Villgam area of Kupwara district. Authorities have stated that the IED was safely defused, preventing any potential harm.
