Eid-ul-Fitr: Mirwaez’ Message of Peace and Unity from IIOJK

Srinagar – In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Kashmir and the entire Muslim Ummah.

In his message from Srinagar, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stated, “Eid is a time of joy, gratitude, and reflection—a moment to strengthen our connection with the Almighty and to express kindness, compassion, and care towards one another, especially those in need.”

He prayed to Almighty Allah to accept the prayers, fasting, and good deeds of the people, granting them peace, prosperity, and happiness.

The Mirwaiz further emphasized that Eid serves as a reminder to uphold the values of unity, brotherhood, and service to humanity. He expressed hope that the festival would bring solace to the people of Kashmir, who continue to endure immense hardships under Indian occupation.

Despite restrictions on his movement and communication, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq remains a significant voice of peace and justice in Kashmir, advocating for the rights and aspirations of the people.
