India’s Open Defiance of UN Resolutions

For more than seven decades, India has openly ignored United Nations resolutions that clearly guarantee the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir, proving its complete disrespect for international law and basic human rights. During this long period, the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have lived under fear, violence, and heavy military control. India has never shown seriousness in resolving the dispute peacefully. Instead, it has relied on force, lies, and illegal actions to maintain control.

◆ Illegal Annexation and Forced Integration: India’s unilateral move on August 5, 2019, when it scrapped Articles 370 and 35A and forcibly turned Jammu and Kashmir into union territories, was a direct violation of UN resolutions, aimed at crushing Kashmiri identity and silencing their legal demand for freedom.
