APHC Condemns Attack on Yatris, Alleges Conspiracy by Indian Agencies
June 11, 2024Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the newly elected convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly condemned the recent attack on a bus carrying yatris in Reasi, Jammu region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Safi attributes this violent act to Indian agencies, alleging it is an attempt to discredit the movement for the right to self-determination.
Safi highlighted the history of similar incidents, referencing the Singhpura and Vandhama episodes in Ganderbal. He emphasized that the bloodshed of innocent civilians is a grievous act, likening it to the murder of all humanity.
Safi asserted that the Hurriyat Conference will expose these conspiracies and prevent the Modi regime’s extremist Hindutva ideology from succeeding. He reiterated that their struggle is rooted in high human values and Islamic principles, rejecting any cowardly attacks on non-combatants.
He described such attacks as a deliberate conspiracy to defame their legitimate struggle and divert global attention. Safi condemned the victimization of innocent people as utterly reprehensible and vowed to continue advocating for their rights.
As the Hurriyat Conference denounces this violence, they call on the international community to recognize these conspiracies and support their cause for justice and self-determination.
