Concerns Rise Over Indian Minister’s Threat to Demolish Mosques

Indian Minister Giriraj Singh’s assertion that three lakh mosques in India are “illegal” has ignited fears of widespread demolitions targeting Muslim places of worship. His statements and endorsement of protests against a disputed mosque in Shimla’s Sanjauli area have raised alarms about a possible agenda to dismantle Islamic symbols across the country.
